Our hiring terms & conditions

General                  

All equipment hired out by Party Décor Hire, remains the property of the hiring company

 

Use of equipment

The use of all the equipment is entirely at the clients own risk

The customer shall have no claim against Party Décor Hire for any loss or damage sustained by the customer whilst using our equipment

Items are to be checked upon delivery and any discrepancy or shortage must be immediately reported, otherwise it will be considered that the loss or breakage occurred whilst in the possession of the customer

 

Hiring time

From the moment the customer receives the items until their return, they are the full responsibility of the customer

Items must be returned within 4 days of hiring unless otherwise agreed. Thereafter a late return fee will be charged

A deposit will be charged and returned, once all items are received back clean and in the same condition as they were received

A wash up fee will be charged for dirty items returned

A full replacement amount will be charged for mouldy, torn or burnt table cloths or any shortages on return

Any shortages on the returned items will be charged against the deposit or a further invoice if necessary

 

Quotes

The issuing of a quote does not reserve stock or guarantee our service. Only when a quote is confirmed and a deposit paid, will Party Décor Hire guarantee the quote.

 

Payments

All orders are to be paid for in full before the event. Payment is either by EFT or cash. Party Décor Hire does not take payment by card. On paying by EFT please quote the order number and send us a POP

 

Flower arrangements

On ordering floral arrangements, a clear and concise description of size, colour, style and if possible flower type is to be agreed. Pictures are helpful.

Please be specific about the type of event and where the arrangements will be placed.

From time to time, certain flowers may not be available and it must be understood that suitable alternatives will be sourced.

On delivery of the arrangements, the customer is to sign them in, and thereafter they become their responsibility.

Any vase/other vessel or featured detail remains the property of Party Décor Hire and must be returned to them after the event unless agreed.

 

Set-up and breakdowns

All set-up and breakdown details need to be discussed and paid for prior to the event.

All items are to be returned clean and in the same packaging that it was delivered in.

Should it be that the hired items have not been packed and ready for collection, an added 50% will be charged over and above the normal collection fee. Sunday collections and breakdowns incur a higher charge.
